NICOLE COTNOIR

Co-Owner | Personal Trainer

Nicole has been a certified personal trainer for over eight years, with a lifelong passion for movement and athletic performance. She grew up as a competitive gymnast and later shifted her focus to tennis in high school. It was during that time—through a strength and conditioning program—that she discovered her love for strength training and Olympic weightlifting.

While earning her degree in Public Communications at the University of Vermont, Nicole also studied Exercise Physiology, Anatomy & Physiology, and Kinesiology. After graduating, she moved to Boston to pursue personal training full-time and spent over three years as a Tier 3+ trainer at Equinox Sports Club.

Nicole is the owner of The Training Lab, LLC and co-owner of The Training Lab South Boston, LLC. In 2024, she began teaching step aerobics and developed a passion for creating rhythm-based, beat-driven classes that blend music and movement in a fun and challenging way.

She has worked with clients ranging in age from 11 to 84 and is passionate about helping people feel strong, confident, and capable in their everyday lives—whether through personal training, group fitness, or a blend of both. Nicole is also committed to building a supportive community and making fitness feel inclusive and approachable for all.
